Street for our Advanced Guitar class. In this class
you will explore some new techniques and ideas to
get you out of that rut and give you a better
understanding of the instrument. Learn different
approaches to guitar by exploring different styles
of music. Maybe meet some people for a band! |

Explore the
concepts and practices of music composition. Learn
to create your own music. Learn to write for
instruments other than the one you play. By
exploring various methods of composition across
different styles of music you will learn how to take
your ideas and turn them into actual pieces of
music. The class will culminate in the performance
of short works composed by the students. Interested
students must have some familiarity with basic music
theory including the knowledge of scales, chords and
rhythm. |

Musikgarten's Nature's Music
capitalizes on children's natural curiosity and wonder about the
world around them. Move, listen, sing, chant and play
instruments with your child while nurturing their wonder of the
world and developing basic music skills such as pitch, beat and
rhythm. A family packet including a CD, an activity item and a
songbook with activities will be provided to support bringing
home this repertoire of nature's musical play.

a variety of educational opportunities in our sound
recording studio that can be tailored to suit your
needs. Join a group class, or try a one-time

Private Music Lessons* Whether you're a beginner or an
experienced musician looking for advanced instruction, private lessons
can enhance your abilities with personal attention that can be
beneficial to your growth as a musician. Lessons are scheduled weekly,
for 30, 45, or 60 minutes, and are available Monday through Saturday.
Green Street's affiliation with Wesleyan gives us access to a wide range

someone who will suit your needs!
Prices:
$240 for eight weeks of 30-minute lessons
($30/lesson);
$350 for eight weeks of 45 minute lessons
($43.75/lesson);
$460 for eight weeks of 60 minute lessons
($57.50/lesson)
Trial Lessons:
A trial lesson provides a combined lesson and consultation prior to
enrollment in regularly scheduled individual instruction. The lesson
gives prospective students a no-obligation opportunity to try an
instrument or become familiar with a teacher. Private rates apply for
trial lessons.
Registration:
Registration for private lessons is due two weeks before the first
lesson. A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration;
complete payment is due before the start of the second lesson.
